Rob Kell was a relief pitcher for the '93 Sailors, and had his finest season as a professional player. Appearing
in 18 games (33 2/3 innings), Kell went 2-0 with 1 save, allowed only 16 hits, and had 44 strikeouts.
For the 1993 season, Rob gave up an average of just over 4 hits and recorded nearly 12 strikeouts per 9 innings of work.
In his 5 seasons of minor league play, Kell recorded 388 strikeouts in 382 IP. Rob made it to AAA-Oklahoma City - the
site of his final stop in professional baseball.
Kell has assisted Villanova, Temple, and Souderton Area High School, has been instructing pitchers since 1997, and is
currently part of The Hitters Coop in Colmar, Pa., as a pitching instructor.
