Hood would play 5 minor league seasons, ending up with AA Birmingham. Career stats include
183 hits in 328 games. Before Erie, Hood led the Big South Conference in batting in 1990, and was 2nd in stolen bases
with 26. He won Single-A and Double-A Championships, and was a teammate of Michael Jordan with Birmingham in 1994.
As of 2007-08, Randy enters his 7th season with the UNC Wilmington Seahawks, coordinating recruiting
as well as overseeing the hitters and outfielders.
