Darren Nelson was a starting outfielder for the '87 Cardinals, batting a team-high .287 with 5 HR and 44 RBI for
the 71-game season.
Nelson was an NCAA All-American, and played four years with the Angels and Cardinals organizations.
Darren currently operates Sluggers Professional Baseball Instruction in Huntington Beach.
