Tom Caulfield was a starting pitcher in the rotation of the 1983 Cardinals team. Caufield sported a 6-3 record
with a 2.81 ERA in 14 starts that season, including 3 complete games.
Caulfield would play one more season, splitting time between Springfield and St. Petersburg in 1984.
Tom
Caulfield is a dynamic, results oriented finance executive with over 25 years of business experience. After 22 years in professional
services (public accounting and consulting), he has spent the past three year in industry at Clear Lam Packaging, Inc.
At
Clear Lam, Tom reports directly to the CEO and is responsible for the Company’s finance, accounting, treasury, purchasing,
human resources and MIS departments.
Prior
to joining Clear Lam, Tom was a partner at Silverman Consulting. During his 18 year career at Silverman he consulted over
90 clients in various industries. He has a proven record of innovative leadership, profit enhancement, team building, successful
project management, negotiating, sales and marketing, refinancing/recapitalizations, business sales, acquisitions, restructurings,
assignments for benefit of creditors, bankruptcies, operational improvements, and executive coaching.
Earlier in his career, Tom was in public accounting for five years with an emphasis in tax and business assurance. After graduation from Southern Illinois at Carbondale with
a B.S. in Accountancy, Tom played professional baseball for the St.
Louis Cardinals.
He currently is a volunteer for several non for profit organizations and resides in Prospect Heights with
his wife and two children.
