Ray DeSimone was the starting 3B for the '93 Sailors, batting .241 with 19 RBI and 18 stolen bases in 65 games.
DeSimone would play one more year of minor league ball, for the Charleston Riverdogs, pounding out 43 hits in 72 games.
Since his baseball days Ray has worked for the DCH Auto Group, and is currently the General Manager of Montclair Acura
in New Jersey.
