Linc Mikkelsen began his minor league career with the 1990 Erie Sailors, sporting a 7-5 record and a sparkling 2.34 ERA
in 14 starts. Mikkelsen gave up an average of 7 hits per 9 innings of work during his time in Erie.
Mikkelsen would play 13 more seasons in the minors, his best season arguably the 2006 campaign with Atlantic City when
he went 15-5 with a 1.85 ERA. That season Linc pitched 175 innings, allowing only 36 earned runs. Mikkelsen was
named Atlantic League Player and Pitcher of the Year in 2006.
Linc is currently the Pitching Coach at Faith Christian School in Grapevine, Tx.
