Mike Linskey was a starting pitcher for the '88 Erie Orioles. In 10 appearances Linskey went 3-3 with a 3.11 ERA
and 50 strikeouts in 55 IP.
Mike played 6 minor league seasons, finishing his playing career with AAA-Las Vegas. Linskey posted a 50-42 record
for his career with a 3.64 ERA and 17 complete games in 122 starts.
Linskey posted 10-win seasons twice, in 1989 with Hagerstown and 1992 with Wichita, and went 7-1 with a 1.47 ERA
in 1990 with Hagerstown - his finest season. Linskey made the Baltimore roster twice in '91, and once with San Diego
in '92.
Linskey lives in Houston with his wife (his college sweetheart ), son and daughter. Mike currently works for AT&T
in the Advertising Department.
