Hartley would go onto a 6-year major league career with St. Louis, Los Angeles, Philadelphia, Minnesota, Boston and Baltimore, compiling a 19-13 record and a 3.70 ERA.   Mike's best season was 1990 pitching for the Dodgers, when he went 6-3 with a 2.95 ERA.

 

In 2008, Mike Hartley was named Head Coach of the Heidenheim Heidekoepfe German Baseball-Bundesliga team.  Hartley will also pitch for the squad.
