Freddie appeared in 49 games for the '92 Sailors, accounting for 3 HR and 15 RBI.
Gamble attained his B.A. in English from South Carolina State in 1995, then taught English for four
years to at-risk teens placed in group homes. Afterwards, Freddie worked for the SC Dept. of Social Services as Caseworker
for foster children (all the while coaching varsity baseball at Manning High School.)
After five years as caseworker/coach, Gamble currently works as an industrial mechanic for
a alumina manufacturing company.
