Jerry Daniels split time as closer of the '87 Erie Cards with Tony Russo. In 36 appearances, Daniels posted a 9-2
record with 6 saves and a 3.65 ERA. He was 3rd on the team in strikeouts with 58.
After serving as head instructor at the Allstar Baseball Academy, Jerry formed Jerry Daniel's Baseball School in St.
Louis. In 2004 the Baseball School merged with Balls-n-Strikes baseball and softball instruction.
Daniels has since purchased Balls-n-Strikes outright, and operates 7 different locations in Missouri and
Illinois.
