Steve Mondile was one of two closers the '88 Erie Orioles carried on staff. In 42 IP Mondile went 2-2 with a 1.07
ERA, recorded 12 saves and struck out 30.
After his playing days Mondile served as a scouting supervisor for 6 years for both the Reds and Marlins, and has been
an instructor with The Hit Doctor in Washington (NJ) Township.
Steve currently serves as a Phillies scout, in addition to working with The Hit Doctor.
