Skip was named to his first GM post in 1986 with the Greensboro Hornets.  From there he became VP/GM of the Columbia Mets in 1989, VP/GM of the Williamsport Bills in 1990, Erie President and GM from 1992-93, and Hudson Valley President and GM from 1994-2001.

 

Weisman was named The Sporting News Class A Executive of the Year in 1987; his 1998 Hudson Valley team was Class A Organization of the Year and won the NYP Championship.

 

Weisman wrapped up his 20 years of professional baseball management in 2001, when he began Weisman Success Resources.
