John Lynch appeared in 7 games for the '92 Sailors, sporting an 0-3 record and a 2.15 ERA in 29 innings pitched.

 

Lynch was selected by Tampa Bay of the NFL in the '93 draft, and spent 11 seasons with the Bucs before joining the Denver Broncos in 2004, a team he retired from after the 2007 season.

 

Lynch was the first person to throw a pitch for the Florida Marlins organization when he started for the Erie Sailors.
